I'm working today but my family doesn't usually get together until the Saturday after because we're all spread out over the state. My mum, brother, and step-dad are driving up today from SoCal and should be here sometime tonight. I haven't decided if I want to give up my bed for them yet. So I finally watched it and...

All in all, a seriously epic episode. I can't even. We're supposed to go two months with out Show? I don't think we'll last that long.

First, regarding my last post:

I'm sorry for thrusting my angst on you guys. My best friend just recently lost someone close to her in a car accident and I'm having a hard time not being able to be there for her. If I had the money I'd be on a plane this very second.

Anyways...

holy crap I've been busy. They've got me going in every day for training and today I actually worked the register for my entire shift. I had a shadow but I don't think I'm going to have one tomorrow which terrifies me in ways I can't even express. lol

And on top of that, I have a 5-10 minute speech I'm supposed to give on Friday but I haven't written a word of it. And I have no idea when I'm actually supposed to write it because I have class tomorrow and I'm heading directly to work after where I don't get off until at least nine. I usually collapse when I get home that late. Lovely. I only just got home a half hour ago from my night class (in which, TMI, I started my period. AGAIN.) where I had to take a test.

I think I'm just going to fall over now. Please excuse the whining/absentness/tiredness/angst.

All I want is to be there for her. These phone calls aren't cutting it. I want to sit by her and hold on to her and let her cry. I want her to not be sitting by herself in the dark, alone with her grief. I want to physically BE there but she's in another state while I'm stuck here with out the means to get there. Talking to her with out seeing her face makes the platitudes and worry feel empty. All I want is for her to be okay.

She's lost someone and I don't know what to do.

Hm. So apparently I really REALLY like adorable schmooptastic Sam/Castiel.

Had my job orientation today. It went as well as a job orientation could, I guess. watched crappy training videos, went over the handbook, took a tour of the store. That sort of thing. I start my first official clocking in day tomorrow at 9. I'm gonna be shadowing people at the register. This change in my sleep schedule may just kill me a teensy bit though. Just sayin. And yes I'm nervous that I'm going to make a huge mistake and screw everything up. But I'm told that's normal.

For everybody who I keep promising that Dean/Sheldon fic: IT IS BEING WRITTEN. I just have a bit of other stuff on my plate at the moment. >_<
